Event Rundown

OPENING CEREMONIES - Beginning at 11 AM, a special opening ceremony will take place on the Main Stage. Join in the singing of the National Anthem and color guard presentation of the flag as we pay homage to our great nation.

 

GOLF CART PARADE - Enjoy the Patriotic Golf Cart Parade by watching or participating in this fun event at 11:30 AM down 2nd Avenue to Marina Drive and Riverfront Park and back.

 

KIDS ZONE - Children can enjoy bouncy castles and water activities set up in the Conway Marina parking lot. There will also be farm animals! Activities will be held from 11 AM- 8 PM.

BUSINESS EXPO - Visitors and locals are guaranteed to love the displays and information provided at the Business Expo. The Expo will highlight area businesses along Elm Street from 11 AM-10 PM.

 

ARTISAN MARKET - The Artisan Market will be filled with arts & crafts vendors from all over showcasing their unique gifts for sale. Shop and browse at the Marina Parking lot from 11 AM- 10 PM.

 

BEER GARDEN - While attending the festival, choose from a variety of food vendors like ice cream, Italian ice, fair favorites, chili dogs, BBQ and so much more. Beer products are available at the festival from 11 AM-9:30 PM and are CASH ONLY. To purchase, you must go to the Identification Booth to show your driver’s license for proof of age and you will receive a wrist band. All alcoholic beverages must be consumed in the festival area.

 

THE CONWAY NATIONAL BANK FIREWORKS EXTRAVAGANZA - In celebration of our country’s independence, the Fireworks Extravaganza is a must-see and even bigger and better this year. Watch the sky light up with an explosion of colors beginning at 9:30 PM.

IS THERE AN ADMISSION FEE FOR THIS EVENT?

No.

WILL THERE BE FIRST AID SERVICES ON SITE AT THE EVENT?

Yes. A first aid area will be available to assist with any festival mishaps that may arise.

WHAT CAN I BRING INTO THE EVENT?

You are allowed to bring a blanket and/or a lawn chair to enjoy the bands and fireworks.​

​

WHAT CAN I NOT BRING INTO THE EVENT?

The following items are prohibited in the festival area during the event:

  • Smoking

  • Public golf carts

  • Bicycles

  • Skateboards

  • Scooters

  • Coolers

ARE PETS ALLOWED AT THE EVENT?

No pets (except service animals) are allowed in the festival area during Riverfest.

WHAT IS THE PARKING SITUATION LIKE?

There will be parking AND handicap parking available at the following locations:

  • The Horry County Courthouse

  • The old Santee Cooper lot

  • Various street parking

 

The Kids Zone will have two (2) shuttles running from the top of 2nd Avenue down to the kids area. Anyone can hop on and hop off. There will also be a few limo golf carts used to shuttle individuals in need, families, elderly, etc. that will be making trips frequently to surrounding lots.
